
Justine Gelfman is a playwright living in Brooklyn. She is a graduate of Northwestern University.
Her work has been developed or produced at SPACE on Ryder Farm, Dixon Place, ESPA/Primary Stages, G45 Productions, Pete's Candy Store, New Women Space, New York Fringe Festival, Kenyon College and Northwestern University. Her play, The Thing That Never Happened was selected as a 2018 semifinalist for the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center and a FringeFAVE at the New York Fringe Festival.
Justine has been a resident at Sewanee Writers' Conference, Kenyon Playwrights Conference, and Access Theater. She has worked with Williamstown Theatre Festival, Atlantic Theater Company, LCT3, Upright Citizen's Brigade, Women's Project Theater, Cherry Lane Theatre, Ensemble Studio Theatre and Maven Pictures in various capacities.
